Baiswara region, situated in between the west of Raebareli and the east of Unnao, is a renowned land of north India. It imbibes in itself almost all the cultural and social values of Indian nation. It is a blend of wisdom and valour. It has the privilege to produce the great patriots, poets and litterateurs. The land has produced the literary gems- Acharaya Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi, Mahapran Nirala, Acharaya Nand Dulare Bajpai, Dr. Ram Vilas Sharma, Mulla Daud and Malik Mohammad Jaisi. On the other hand, it gave birth to the gallant freedom fighters such as Rana Beni Madhav of Shankerpur and Rao Ram Bux Singh of Daundiya Khera. It is on this sacred land, the lamp of education was kindled on 17 th February, 1946 with the initiation of Shree Jageshwar Singh Judev and the Rajmata of Alampur State Queen Dilraj Kuwari. The sapling that was planted by the Baiswara Education Trust in 1946 took the shape of a huge tree in the form of Baiswara Degree College on 5 th August, 1966 with late Shree Lal Rajendra Bahadur Singh (Lal Saheb) its being the first Manager and late Shree Ram Nath Singh its first Principal
